Calendar Sync: Auto-hidden meetings

Work calendars often include many types of meetings—internal stand-ups, work-in-progress sessions, focus time, lunch blocks, and personal appointments.
To keep your Meeting Ally view focused on client meetings, we automatically hide certain meetings based on built-in rules.

What meetings get auto-hidden

Personal or blocked-out time

Meetings are auto-hidden when:
  • There is only one unique participant
  • The meeting is marked as personal or used to block out time

Internal and team meetings

Meetings are auto-hidden when:
  • All participants belong to the same email domain
This helps ensure internal discussions don’t appear alongside your client meetings.

About 'Same Domain'

In Settings → Practice Profile, there is a Domain field (automatically filled in when you sign up). This field allows an administrator to define your organization’s email domain, for example:
demowealth.com.au
If all meeting participants have email addresses on this domain, the meeting is considered internal and will be hidden automatically.

Troubleshooting

A meeting did not auto-hide

Auto-hide rules are applied when the meeting first syncs with Meeting Ally.
To avoid overriding any changes you make later, meetings that are edited after syncing are not re-evaluated automatically. If this happens, you can manually show or hide the meeting as needed.
